The ROG Xbox Ally X was released on Oct. 16, and many gamers got their hands on the handheld.


The ROG Xbox Ally X features:

  • 7-inch 1080p display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus

  • 1 TB storage plus microSD expansion

  • 24 GB of memory

  • AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor

  • 80Wh battery for extended gaming sessions


The handheld devices require gamers to set up the PC side before signing into Xbox. Players can also access their Steam and Battle.net libraries.


Priced around $1,000, but there are financing options available at Best Buy.
