Cyberwave, the developers of Solarpunk, released an update about their game across social media on Thursday, Nov. 13.
In the post, the developers said, "We want to make sure it truly feels special when you finally get to play it, so we made the decision to move the release to next year."
The team, made up of two people, talked about the biggest issue was the multiplayer part of the game.
"Building a smooth, stable, and enjoyable co-op mode is one of the most complex challenges. It takes extensive testing and a lot of time to make sure everything runs seamlessly for everyone. That's why we decided to take a bit more time to ensure the multiplayer is as fun and reliable as the single-player experience you've already seen."
The team also released the next steps on their social media account. It showed a multiplayer playtest, some polishing and bug fixes, and then it will be released.
KP did a review of the game when it was first showcased during Steam Next Fest. Check out the review below.
