The Steam Scream 4 fest runs from Oct. 27 through Nov. 3 and shows off games that are spooky, creepy, and dark. KP and Morgan compiled a list of their top 10 games from the fest below.
KP's Top 10 Steam Scream 4 Game Picks
1 - Haunted Paws
Step into the paws of two puppies looking for their human friend in a haunted mansion. Players will be able to customize their own puppy, solve puzzles, and work together to find Kira Pawsley, a journalist and proud owner of two puppies. A playtest is available from Oct. 31 through Nov. 7.
2 - Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core
Fight alien horrors in this roguelite featuring sci-fi dwarves. Gamers can play Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core solo or with up to three friends. Get ready to battle it all out for "Rock and Stone!"
3 - The Seance of Blake Manor
This single-player game will have players investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Deane while uncovering other secrets. Gamers will take on the role of a supernatural detective set in 1897 Ireland.
4 - Magicraft
Holding a magical, legendary staff, players will fight their way through a magical fantasy world. Players will take on monsters, combine unique spells, and defeat the ancient gods to save the world. There is a demo available on Steam.
5 - The Braves
Players will unlock different characters to help them defeat enemies and survive. They will have to combine skills along the way in this rogue-like game. This game is free to play.
6 - Wytchwood
Get ready to jump into the world of gothic fables and fairy tales. Players take on the role of an old witch of the woods. They will explore the countryside, collect magical ingredients, and brew spells.
7 - Vampire Hunters
Vampire Hunters is a game filled with guns, lots of guns. Gamers will get to take down hordes of undead creatures and create over-the-top gun builds. Get ready to unleash your power in this roguelite game.
8 - Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP
Rev up that chainsaw in Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. Players take on the role of Juliet Starling as she rips and tears through the living dead and the evil forces behind them. This is a remaster of the cult classic.
9 - Mimesis
When a mysterious rain falls, players will soon meet copies that aren't human. These copies mimic voices and actions in Mimesis. Play solo or with up to 4 players to strategize, share resources, and survive together.
10 - Pit of Goblin
Play as a scrappy goblin as gamers make their way through dungeons looking to feed the Goblin King-Queen. Players will have to dodge traps and fleeing monsters. But if they fail to feed the Goblin King-Queen, they might be the next meal.

1 - Sons Of The Forest
Players are sent to a remote island and find themselves in a cannibal-infested hellscape. In this open-world survival horror, players must craft, build, forage, and survive against cannibals and mutant horrors all while unraveling the island's deep and mysterious secrets.
2 - Strange Antiquities
In Strange Antiquities, players become the custodians of an antique store that deals in occult items. Players will find and identify arcane artifacts, help the townsfolk, pet your cat, and unravel the strange mysteries of the gloomy town of Undermere. There is a demo on Steam.
3 - Hades
Hades is a rogue-like dungeon crawler where players play as the immortal Prince of the Underworld. While wielding magical powers and mythical weapons of Olympus, players will fight for their freedom from the God of the Dead himself, while also having the support of other Olympians.
4 - Vampire Therapist
Vampire Therapist is a dark comedy visual novel where the player is the therapist for, well, vampires, of course. This game actually uses and teaches real therapy concepts with a story that explores what it means to live, die, live again, and how to even feel alive. There is a demo on Steam.
5 - Goblin Cleanup
Players can enjoy a casual co-op cleaning simulation game with Goblin Cleanup. Players will clean dungeons and even rearrange them before the next group of adventurers comes through to complete them once again.
6 - The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood
Players can immerse themselves in a visual novel of magic. Players will follow a fortune-telling Witch named Fortuna, craft their own tarot deck, regain Fortuna's freedom from exile, and shape the cosmic Witch society's fate. There is a demo on Steam.
